Here's my glazed tiles before and after they were installed for my midterm crit. They colors came out darker/more saturated than expected, which I think actually worked out for the better. It also seems like there was some reduction effects to the insides of the clay frames in the firing from the stains and it turned a brownish, burnt color that's really nice. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way these ones came out and I think for the next ones I start I might try gold leafing the frames, making them bigger, or even removing the frames and painting the surface and the sides with glaze like a canvas...going to experiment a little.
